Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Transfiguration by Camillo Procaccini was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Christies in London in December 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,626.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camillo Procaccini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buste D'Homme Criant in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Transfiguration von Camillo Procaccini wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.626,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camillo Procaccini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buste D'Homme Criant im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
