The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,059.68), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Camillo Procaccini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buste D'Homme Criant in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.

Die Arbeit Study Of A Figure Lying On The Ground von Camillo Procaccini wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Master Drawings from a Distinguished European Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.059,68) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Camillo Procaccini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buste D'Homme Criant im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
