Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work La valse or Les valseurs, grand modèle by Camille Claudel. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,112,750.00 (€ 1,257,597.14), 24% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Camille Claudel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Valse, Première Version in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,122,500.00 (€ 5,978,874.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La valse or Les valseurs, grand modèle von Camille Claudel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.112.750,00 (€ 1.257.597,14) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Camille Claudel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Valse, Première Version im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.500,00 (€ 5.978.874,90).
