Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les bords de l'Yonne by Camille Bombois was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,930.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Bombois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La blonde sur le pouf in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 147,039.97).

Die Arbeit Les bords de l'Yonne von Camille Bombois kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.930,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
