A top price for Camille Bombois - as previously expected
The work La blonde sur le pouf by Camille Bombois was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 45,000.00 – 6,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 147,039.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La blonde sur le pouf is the most expensive artwork by Camille Bombois that we have observed at auctions so far.
