Admittedly, works by But Mochtar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Patung Elemen Estetik (Study Of Esthetic Principles) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 338,543.62).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von But Mochtar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Patung Elemen Estetik (Study Of Esthetic Principles) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 338.543,62).
