Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Burk Uzzle could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Photographs auction, the work White Sands, N.M. changed hands for USD 127.50 (€ 130.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Burk Uzzle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Desert Prada, Marfa Texas in October this year with an auction result of USD 8,255.00 (€ 7,811.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Burk Uzzle konnte im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs wechselte die Arbeit White Sands, N.M. für USD 127,50 (€ 130,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Burk Uzzle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Desert Prada, Marfa Texas im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.255,00 (€ 7.811,32).
