A top price for Burk Uzzle - as previously expected
The work Desert Prada, Marfa Texas by Burk Uzzle was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,255.00 (€ 7,811.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Desert Prada, Marfa Texas is the most expensive artwork by Burk Uzzle that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Desert Prada, Marfa Texas von Burk Uzzle kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.255,00 (€ 7.811,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Desert Prada, Marfa Texas das teuerste Kunstwerk von Burk Uzzle, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
