Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work White Sands, N.M. by Burk Uzzle for USD 63.75 (€ 59.59). This price was achieved in the auction Studio Art at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of USD 100.00 – 200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Burk Uzzle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Desert Prada, Marfa Texas in October this year with an auction result of USD 8,255.00 (€ 7,811.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit White Sands, N.M. von Burk Uzzle für USD 63,75 (€ 59,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Studio Art bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Burk Uzzle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Desert Prada, Marfa Texas im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.255,00 (€ 7.811,32).
