Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mediterranean Head by Bryan Ingham was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,679.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Bryan Ingham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 14,375.00 (€ 17,910.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mediterranean Head von Bryan Ingham wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.679,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Ingham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.375,00 (€ 17.910,62).
