Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Mediterranean Head by Bryan Ingham. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,223.61). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bryan Ingham - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 14,375.00 (€ 17,910.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mediterranean Head von Bryan Ingham zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.223,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Bryan Ingham mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 14.375,00 (€ 17.910,62) versteigert wurde.
