Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St Ives by Bryan Ingham was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,733.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan Ingham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 14,375.00 (€ 17,910.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit St Ives von Bryan Ingham wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.200,00 (€ 3.733,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Ingham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.375,00 (€ 17.910,62).
