Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Catalunya (Barcelona Series) by Bryan Ingham was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,410.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan Ingham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 14,375.00 (€ 17,910.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Catalunya (Barcelona Series) von Bryan Ingham wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.410,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bryan Ingham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.375,00 (€ 17.910,62).
