Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Brita Nordencreutz could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Sale auction, the work At the Paino changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 941.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brita Nordencreutz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work South european landscape, which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,810.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Brita Nordencreutz konnte im April 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Sale wechselte die Arbeit At the Paino für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 941,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Brita Nordencreutz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit South european landscape beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.810,45) versteigert wurde.
