Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Model with mirror by Brita Nordencreutz was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,616.89). Other works by Brita Nordencreutz have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2013 by the work South european landscape at SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,810.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Model with mirror von Brita Nordencreutz im Oktober 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.616,89) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Brita Nordencreutz wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2013 die Arbeit South european landscape mit SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.810,45).
