Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Al Ratito by Bridget Tichenor was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,455.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Bridget Tichenor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 152,204.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Al Ratito von Bridget Tichenor wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.455,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bridget Tichenor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 152.204,55).
