The work There by Brian Calvin was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,510.00 (€ 15,185.80), 65% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Brian Calvin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work California Freeform in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 127,616.48).

Die Arbeit There von Brian Calvin wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.510,00 (€ 15.185,80) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brian Calvin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit California Freeform im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 127.616,48).
