Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Brian Calvin was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,190.00 (€ 990.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Calvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work California Freeform in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 127,616.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Brian Calvin kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.190,00 (€ 990,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Calvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit California Freeform im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 127.616,48).
