In July 2013 Christies in New York held the auction First Open: Summer Edition, which included the work Gugg by Brian Alfred. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,011.59), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Brian Alfred have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Racetrack) in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,600.00 (€ 20,129.82).

Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open: Summer Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gugg von Brian Alfred zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.011,59) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brian Alfred auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Racetrack) im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.600,00 (€ 20.129,82).
