In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Alignment #51 by Brent Wadden. The »bidding war« ended at USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brent Wadden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alignment (13), which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 122,500.00 (€ 172,723.46).

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alignment #51 von Brent Wadden zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Brent Wadden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alignment (13) beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 122.500,00 (€ 172.723,46) versteigert wurde.
