It achieved a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 7,063.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brad Kahlhamer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Steer Skull, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).

Die Arbeit Two works: (i) Javelina Girl (ii) American Family Wisconsin USA von Brad Kahlhamer kam im Februar 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 7.063,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Brad Kahlhamer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Steer Skull beobachtet, die im November 2006 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27) versteigert wurde.
