Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Postscript II by Boyd Webb for USD 250.00 (€ 226.70). This price was achieved in the auction First Open/ NYC at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boyd Webb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Judy in April 2000 with an auction result of USD 9,987.50 (€ 10,988.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Postscript II von Boyd Webb für USD 250,00 (€ 226,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open/ NYC bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boyd Webb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Judy im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.987,50 (€ 10.988,56).
