Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black Parsuna by Boris Orlov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,156.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boris Orlov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work General, which sold at auction in October 2019 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,645.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Black Parsuna von Boris Orlov kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.156,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Boris Orlov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit General beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.645,90) versteigert wurde.
