A top price for Boris Orlov - as previously expected
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work General by Boris Orlov. The price achieved of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,645.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, General is the most expensive artwork by Boris Orlov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit General von Boris Orlov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.645,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist General das teuerste Kunstwerk von Boris Orlov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
