Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Adoration of the Shepherds by Bonifazio de' Pitati was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 263,859.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Bonifazio de' Pitati have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2020 the work Christ driving the money changers from the Temple was auctioned for USD 600,000.00 (€ 515,154.12).

Die Arbeit Adoration of the Shepherds von Bonifazio de' Pitati kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
