This artwork by Bill Woodrow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2005. In the POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work A Is For Atom sold for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,880.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Woodrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Round the Kitchen Table, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bill Woodrow erzielte im April 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit A Is For Atom für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.880,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68) versteigert wurde.
