Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Jacklin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Black Umbrella, Times Square III in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 38,863.46).

Die Arbeit Dovehouse Street at 4 p.m. von Bill Jacklin kam im August 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.680,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Jacklin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Black Umbrella, Times Square III im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 38.863,46).
