Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Table Top With Picture II by Bill Jacklin was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,626.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Jacklin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Black Umbrella, Times Square III in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 38,863.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Table Top With Picture II von Bill Jacklin kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.626,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Jacklin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Black Umbrella, Times Square III im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 38.863,46).
