Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude (Campden Hill) by Bill Brandt was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,826.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude (Campden Hill) von Bill Brandt kam im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.826,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Brandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
