The work Untitled (The Visitors) by Bikash Bhattacharjee was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2019. It achieved a price of USD 90,000.00 (€ 82,530.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bikash Bhattacharjee; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Red Balloon sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 150,099.90).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 82.530,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bikash Bhattacharjee; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Red Balloon im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 150.099,90).
