The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,669.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bikash Bhattacharjee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Balloon, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 102,000.00 (€ 150,099.90).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.669,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bikash Bhattacharjee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Balloon beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 102.000,00 (€ 150.099,90) versteigert wurde.
