Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Made In Britain, which included the work Maids In Waiting, 1951 by Bert Hardy. The price achieved of GBP 1,063.00 (€ 1,293.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Bert Hardy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Gorbals, Glasgow, 1948 in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,781.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made In Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maids In Waiting, 1951 von Bert Hardy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.063,00 (€ 1.293,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bert Hardy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Gorbals, Glasgow, 1948 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.781,85).
