Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,611.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Sabel) in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 307,021.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.611,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Sabel) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 307.021,55).
