Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Man hiding face by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 60,480.00 (€ 7,180.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Sabel) in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 307,021.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Man hiding face von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 60.480,00 (€ 7.180,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Sabel) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 307.021,55).
