The work Drapes On Table by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Sabel) in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 307,021.55).

Die Arbeit Drapes On Table von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera erzielen.
