Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Family (Image of Sarejevo) by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 250,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,308.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benedicto Reyes Cabrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Sabel) in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 307,021.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Family (Image of Sarejevo) von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.308,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benedicto Reyes Cabrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Sabel) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 307.021,55).
