Admittedly, works by Benedetto Luti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegory of the Elevation of Cardinal Deacon Oddone Colonna to the Papal Chair as Pope Martin V in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 222,500.00 (€ 228,041.41).
