Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bart van der Leck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compositie No. 3 in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 363,857.63).

Die Arbeit Young goat von Bart van der Leck wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert.
