A top price for Bård Breivik - as previously expected
The work "Fiber" by Bård Breivik was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. The price achieved of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,294.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Fiber" is the most expensive artwork by Bård Breivik that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit "Fiber" von Bård Breivik wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.294,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Fiber" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Bård Breivik, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
