In June 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Jardin Des Tuileries by Balcomb Greene. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,364.94), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Balcomb Greene - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Balanced Moving, which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 23,003.31).

Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jardin Des Tuileries von Balcomb Greene zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.364,94) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Balcomb Greene mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Balanced Moving beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 23.003,31) versteigert wurde.
