Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cheat Code by Baiju Parthan was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2005. The price achieved of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,476.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baiju Parthan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Archeology - Arrival at Lancashire in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 169,000.00 (€ 106,928.19).

Die Arbeit Cheat Code von Baiju Parthan kam im März 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.476,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baiju Parthan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Archeology - Arrival at Lancashire im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 169.000,00 (€ 106.928,19).
