Auction result fails to reach estimate
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work "Skuggor" (Shadows) by Axel Törneman for SEK 12,500.00 (€ 1,393.29). This price was achieved in the auction Bukowskis Christmas Auction, Stockholm S195 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even lower than the SEK 25,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Törneman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Ungdom" (Youth) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 600,000.00 (€ 69,779.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Skuggor" (Shadows) von Axel Törneman für SEK 12.500,00 (€ 1.393,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Bukowskis Christmas Auction, Stockholm S195 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von SEK 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Törneman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Ungdom" (Youth) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 600.000,00 (€ 69.779,29).
