Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Axel Törneman could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Algot" changed hands for SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,397.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Törneman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Ungdom" (Youth) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 600,000.00 (€ 69,779.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Axel Törneman konnte im November 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Algot" für SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.397,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Törneman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Ungdom" (Youth) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 600.000,00 (€ 69.779,29).
