Despite a disappointment, a good price for Axel Törneman
This work of art by Axel Törneman could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Andersson Collection H042 auction, the work "Ungdom" (Youth) changed hands for SEK 600,000.00 (€ 69,779.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 700,000.00 – 800,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, "Ungdom" (Youth) is the most expensive artwork by Axel Törneman that we have observed at auction so far.
