The result of SEK 150,000.00 (€ 14,562.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Axel Olson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Woman figure in gray and black" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 140,520.72).

Die Arbeit "I ditt anletes svett" (Exhaustion after hard labor) von Axel Olson kam im Mai 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 150.000,00 (€ 14.562,98) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Axel Olson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Woman figure in gray and black" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 140.520,72).
