Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Works of Art, Fabergé & Icons, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Officer, Circa 1795 by Augustin Christian Ritt. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,509.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Augustin Christian Ritt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Prince Alexei Borisovich Kurakin (1759-1829) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,593.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Works of Art, Fabergé & Icons durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Officer, Circa 1795 von Augustin Christian Ritt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.509,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Augustin Christian Ritt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Prince Alexei Borisovich Kurakin (1759-1829) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 225.593,92).
