In the Russian Works of Art, Fabergé & Icons auction, the work Portrait Of A Lady, Possibly Helena Van Eeckout, Circa 1786 sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,019.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Augustin Christian Ritt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Prince Alexei Borisovich Kurakin (1759-1829) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,593.92).
