This artwork by Augustin Pajou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in April 2007. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Trois projets décoratifs dont deux fontaines et un projet d'architecture sold for EUR 420.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Augustin Pajou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Amour dominateur des éléments in November last year with an auction result of EUR 314,880.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Augustin Pajou erzielte im April 2007 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Trois projets décoratifs dont deux fontaines et un projet d'architecture für EUR 420,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Augustin Pajou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Amour dominateur des éléments im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 314.880,00.
