The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,266.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Augustin Pajou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Amour dominateur des éléments in November last year with an auction result of EUR 314,880.00.
