This artwork by Arthur Wardle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists auction, the work Portrait of a spaniel having retrieved a rabbit sold for GBP 6,630.00 (€ 7,784.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Wardle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Fairy Tale "All seemed to sleep, the timid hare on form" - Scott. in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 337,875.00 (€ 386,081.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Wardle erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists wurde die Arbeit Portrait of a spaniel having retrieved a rabbit für GBP 6.630,00 (€ 7.784,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Wardle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Fairy Tale "All seemed to sleep, the timid hare on form" - Scott. im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 337.875,00 (€ 386.081,08).
